Why do we need Part G Water Calculations?

As part of the revisions to building regulations in April 2010 Part G was introduced which states that all new dwellings must be shown to use less than 125 Litres of water per person per day.

How to achieve the correct figures

The 125l per person per day figure can be achieved through a number of different measures. These include low and dual flush toilet cisterns, flow restrictors in taps, low flow shower heads and low capacity baths.
